My workplace gets a bit into the Christmas spirit. It’s not unusual to have decorations in the office and people buy Christmas pies for snacks in the afternoons. What ARM also does quite well at Christmas time is their Christmas party. It was an Asian theme this year inn cuisne and entertainment. A week ago, Rob finally got to start work at Bosch. After 9 weeks since his last day at Davey in Melbourne, it was like sending a bird out of the bloody nest for me, but a great relief for both of us. Bring on the 2 pay checks! As part of our moving to the UK, there was this whole process we had to go through. Part of this process was applying for jobs and going to interviews. So, for those who haven’t heard – Rob got the Job! Hoorah! When he came over last, he went to a job interview and everything, and they liked him, he liked and the place and *voila*, job-ness. He’s given his current boss a month’s notice, so should be coming over mid August. The company is called Davey Pumps (so some variation).
