We love our house. But. Our house has no cupboards, except the kitchen. So, there’s no cupboards for linen; no cupboards for electrical cables; no cupbaords for sports gear… No cupboards! Gah!

So, the compromise is to make places to hide the things of life. With boxes.

But, this looks yucky. It might be hiding linen, towels, backpacks and more, but it doesn’t look visually pleasing. So, we went out and bought some simple decorating materials.

And now, it all looks a fair bit tidier. A bit of a win, and all it cost was the boxes from things we’ve bought and £4 wrapping paper.

And things are now hidden from view.
