We’re still working out all the best ways to find out things that are ‘going on’ in Cambridge. We’ve signed up to a few mailing lists, picked up the free rag mags around but we’re still not in ‘the know’. We’ll work it out, I’m sure.
So, I was pretty chuffed when we found out about the Cambridge Food and Garden Festival the week it was happening. We popped out in the drizzle to check it out.
It’s only the second year it’s run, so is still a ‘small’ affair. It was 6 or 7 huge marquees, 2 of which were setup for garden specialists to do talks, 1 was for beer and wine tasting and the remaing four were full of produce and locally made items.
We *loved* the selection of food stuffs. Sauces, dips, jams, honey, candies, fruit and fondue! We bought a seletion of fudges, some sherbet candies and some other goodies…
A pretty great afternoon. Let’s accidentally find out about more things like this!
